Single Sitting Root Canal Treatment

A root canal involves precise removal of the affected part of tooth nerve by application of specialised instruments.

At Reiyal’s Dentistry we prefer carrying out such procedures in a single appointment giving rise to term “single sitting root canal”.

Procedure:

The steps of a single sitting root canal as opposed to a multiple sitting root canal are the same. The only difference is that in multiple sittings, a medicament is left within the tooth to take care of severe infections. If such a condition is not present, we usually prefer single sitting root canal therapy.
